For admission in Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air force you have to cover 3 subjects name
Each CDS exam written paper is of 2 hours and covers 100 marks for each written paper.
For admission in Officers Training Academy (OTA) you have to work on only 2 subjects namely English and General Knowledge. Also, you will get two hours for each paper and a hundred marks.
For entrance exam of each course in CDS exam total marks allotted to the written examination and interview have equal weightage.
The question paper in the exam is of objective type for all papers. UPSC CDS exam has separate qualifying marks for each subject in the examination. GK and maths papers are both in Hindi as well as English as bilingual language.
