What is WBJEE?
West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam ( WBJEE) is a state-level exam for admission in various government, private, and self-financing private colleges in Engineering and Pharmacy undergraduate courses. WBJEE Exam 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit –
Candidate Must meet the following Age Limits-
- Required to have 17 years of age as on December 31, 2020, or should have before December 31, 2003.
- There is no upper age limit for applying for this exam.
- In any case, for Marine Engineering, the upper age limit is 25 years as on December 31, 2020.
Nationality – The candidates must have Indian nationality.
WBJEE seat allotment and
WBJEE Mock Test
Candidates must have passed the 10+2th class exam(or proportionate) with Mathematics and Physics. Along with any of Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science/ as compulsory subjects. The referenced subjects should have to pass only in standard class mode. - The board of Education of the candidates must be Central and State government.
- A total of at least 45% marks should the general category candidates secure in the three subjects. Candidates must secure at least 30% marks in English.
TFW in WBJEE and Domicile
Candidates must have to be the resident of West Bengal for 10 sequential years. As on December 31, 2019, and have house qualifications. If the guardians of the candidates are lasting occupants of West Bengal. They have a perpetual private location in the state. At that point of domicile, qualification is valid to the applicants.
Candidates need to report their Domicile certificate during admission counseling for Admission.

Step 1. WBJEE Registration 2020
Candidates can apply for the online application form from the wbjee website. They need to feel the required details. Like their address, nationality domicile as per the need for the exam. Pay the application fee and upload a photo and signature.

Step 2. WBJEE Admit Card 2020
WBJEE Releases the admit card 20 days to 1 month before the exam. Candidates can download their result by logging into their account. West Bengal Entrance Exam Board released the admit card for WBJEE on 24th January in online mode. Admit card/Hall Ticket is mandatory to appear in the exam. Candidates can keep a copy of the admit card for further processes.
Step 4. WBJEE Result 2020
Wbjee result releases in online mode on the official website. Candidates can log in to the account. They can provide their application number and password to check their results.
Step 5. WBJEE Counseling and Admission
WBJEE performs 3 rounds of the counselling processes. Candidates have to appear in the first round with and document verification. This round is for document verification. No registration of candidates is accepted after the first round.

WBJEE Exam Pattern
WBJEE Exam pattern comprises two papers.
- Paper 1 – Mathematics
- Paper 2 – Physics and Chemistry
Paper 1- Mathematics
- Mathematics paper covers 100 marks.
- The question paper has 75 questions covering 3 categories.
- Category 1 has 50 questions, Category 2 has 15 questions and Category 3 has 10 questions.
- The question paper is objective. There is no negative marking for category 3. Negative marking for category 1 and Category 2 is given below.
- Category 1 and Category 2 have one-fourth negative marking. I.e is 25% of negative marking for each question.
Paper 2 – Physics and Chemistry
Set chemistry paper together covers 100 marks with physics 40 questions and Chemistry with 40 questions. Mathematics paper this paper also covers 3 categories. Like Mathematics paper the question paper is also towards negative marking is as same as Mathematics paper.
