TET Exam Syllabus 2021
The TET exam syllabus of every state does not have a common syllabus. Candidates can get the syllabus of future state from their official website as it is released by the exam conducting authority.
Based on skills there are two types of TET exam held in India
- Assistant teachers in primary school
- A lower primary teacher from class 1 to 4
As stated above assistant teachers in primary school are recruited who teaches students in lower primary TET. In the same way, upper primary TET examination is held for recruitment of candidates who teachers from class 6 to class 8.
TET exam details 2021
There are two paper conducted for TET exam
- Paper 1
- Paper 2
In Up TET Exam Paper 1 is conducted for assistant teachers in primary school who take classes from class 1 to 5 and paper 2 recruitment of candidates who teach from class 6 to 8. Candidates who are applying for teaching from class 12 class 8 can opt for both papers. The TET exam syllabus does not carry negative marking. Exam duration for each paper is of two hours and 30 minutes having exam papers of both English and Hindi language.
Paper 1 and paper 2 each consists of 150 questions with a total of 150 marks. Both of these papers have the same syllabus comprises of 5 subjects.

Selection of candidates in the TET examination is done through making a certain cut off the range. candidates who score above that cut off to get qualified for the exam. These candidates get the TET qualified certificate with their obtained rank in the TET examination. The TET certificate has a validation year after that it will not be in action. Candidates who qualify TET examination are eligible for appearing in an interview conducted for the recruitment as an assistant teacher in different schools that comes in their sanction.
